In the summer of 2020… everything changed. 

That’s how the story I tell my grandchildren will start. I will tell them about how the world changed again and what “Getting your BAG” meant to the black community and how these individuals inspired me to create this project. 

The concept of B.A.G aka Black. Aspire. Galore, is to showcase portraits of BLACK creatives, leaders of social change, and entrepreneurs who aim to ASPIRE and are filled with an energy that’s so GALORE it will lead you to create something of your own. At least for me it did. 

I have witnessed here in Chicago the people who have dedicated themselves to change the narrative of the black experience and figured why not acknowledge it.
